Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad is reportedly hiding out on a Russian warship in the Mediterranean with his family and close friends, protected by Russian security. According to Saudi Arabia’s al-Watan newspaper, he uses a helicopter to travel to Syria.
Citing confidential intelligence sources, al-Watan reports that Assad spends most of his time in the safe environment on the ship and only goes into Syria for official, pre-arranged meetings.
