A traffic police post was fired at by the unknown Thursday night on the federal highway "Kavkaz" in the Ingush city of Nazran. The perpetrators used automatic weapons and grenade launchers.
"The firing occurred at 23:40. According to preliminary information, there are people injured. Policemen opened fire in response, after which the assailants escaped," - said to Interfax a source in law enforcement agency of the region.
As a source in the Interior Ministry of Ingushetia specified, during the shooting three police officers who worked at the post were slightly injured. The wounded were given medical treatment.
