Leader of Georgian opposition calls on authorities to start dialogue with Russia

Representatives of Georgia and Russia have to start a dialogue to normalise the relationship between the two countries, claimed ex-ambassador of Georgia to the UN and leader of the party «Our Georgia», Irakly Alasania, at a press conference today in the internet media club «Caucasia», reports Georgia News. «The normalization of relationships with Russia is an issue of huge importance for our country. But negotiations have to be conducted between the authorities of the two countries» said Alasania. According to him, the opposition can change nothing, because Russia will use any involvement by them to discredit Georgia, so he asked opposition politicians not to visit Moscow.
