A former official of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Dagestan has been put on trial for stealing furniture, computers and musical instruments worth about 14.8 million rubles from the department.
The former official is Murad Magomedgadzhiev, who worked as head of the
Department of Culture of the Akushinsky district from 2007 to 2010.
Magomedgadzhiev has pleaded guilty. The criminal case against him will be
considered by the Sovietski District Court of Makhachkala. The former
official is facing up to 10 years imprisonment.
