Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has dismissed Deputy Minister for Agriculture Magomed Oskanov and accountant Adam Chertanov, RIA Novosti reports.
Ingush authorities are inspecting complaints about violations of grants for farmers. Some functionaries demanded bribes from farmers in exchange for grants. The sum of bribes reached 50% of the grant in some cases.
A special commission will check involvement of officers of the Economic Crime Department of the Interior Ministry in corruption schemes.
Ingush Minister for Finances Murat Malsagov was dismissed on January 16. Yevkurov explained that he had complaints from grant-receivers about bribe demands at the Obrazovaniye Bank.
