Today the Minister of Finance of Georgia reported that the government had made a decision to pay social security for the year 2003 to the family of the first Georgian president, Zviad Gamsakhurdia. The entire sum amounts ton about $78 thousand.
Manana Archvadze-Gamsakhurdia requested the Ministry of Finance to pay the social security. Payments should have been made in 2003, but due to financial difficulties the government has not fulfilled its obligations to the family of Zviad Gamsakhurdia.
