Vladimir Kolokoltsev to visit Tehran

The first visit of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia to Iran since 1979 will take place in the near future, IRNA reports. The news agency reports that Vladimir Kolokoltsev was invited to Tehran by his Iranian counterpart Mostafa Mohammad Najjar.

Vladimir Kolokoltsev will hold meetings with the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran on bilateral, regional and international issues.

It is planned that during the two-day visit Kolokotsev will discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations and the implementation of Iranian-Russian agreements in the sphere of security, law enforcement and border protection.
