Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nikoloz Vashakidze has resigned, Trend reports.
Vashakidze was in office since 1996. He was one of the few officials of President Mikheil Saakashvili who preserved the position after the Georgian Dream won the parliamentary polls in October 2012.
