Russia rejects US criticism over human rights

The Russian Foreign Ministry has responded to US criticism concerning the situation surrounding human rights in Russia.

In its report, the US commission on religious freedom noted that human rights are being constantly violated in Russia. The report specified that the rights of Muslims are being violated especially often.

The Russian ministry said that the authors of the report demonstrated prejudice and did not take into consideration all relevant information.
