Sargisyan: Medvedev's vizit to Armenia will signal new stage in Russian-Armenian relations

During a meeting on Saturday with Vice-President of Russia Aleksander Zhukov, Armenian President Serzh Sargisyan expressed confidence that the upcoming visit of Dmitry Medvedev will mark a new stage in Russian-Armenian relations, the president's press office told RIA-NOVOSTI. Medvedev's visit is scheduled for August this year. Russian-Armenian relations are developing along the lines of strategic pertnership, and effective dialogue will support the realization of new programmes and wider cooperation. An agreement on cooperation between the National Olympic Committees of the two countries was signed within the framework of the visit.
