South Ossetian president's plane makes forced landing in Helsinki


The plane of South Ossetian president Eduard Kokoyty was forced to land in Helsinki, due to “technical reasons”, a source in Managua told RIA-NOVOSTI. Kokoyty left for Nicaragua, after which he was to travel on to Venezuela on his first official visit. Kokoyty was due to arrive in Nicaragua on the 17th of July. In Managua, Kokoyty will meet president Daniel Ortega and will attend festivities celebrating the 31th anniversary of the Nicaraguan Revolution.
