Baku is hosting a foundation conference of the Association of Law Enforcing Agencies of the Military Status of Eurasia.
The meeting is attended by Lieutenant-General Zakir Gasanov, Azerbaijani Deputy Interior Minister and Commander of the Internal Troops, Army General Bekir Kaloncu, Commander of the Turkish Gendarmerie, Colonel Sovetbek Arbayev, Commander of the Kyrgyz Internal Troops.
Major-General Ruslan Zhaksylukov, Commander of the Kazakh Internal Troops, and his Mongolian counterpart were invited for the conference, but could not attend it.
A protocol on foundation of the association was signed in Ankara in 2011.
