Armenia’s UNSD candidate for president urges consolidation

Paruyr Ayrikyan, a candidate for president of Armenia and head of the Union for National Self-Determination (UNSD), says that the opposition can win the elections in the first round of voting if it consolidates, News.am reports.

The opposition would not allow President Serzh Sargsyan to win even half of the votes, he goes on. The official added that political programs were his primary goal.

Ayrikyan said that he had joined another candidate Andreas Gukasyan in his three-day hunger strike.
