The Russian Foreign Ministry will form a department of international information security to promote Russian initiatives of Internet behavior and trust, Kommersant reports.
Former deputy head of the department for new challenges and threats Andrey Krutskikh is expected to become the chief of the new department.
The department for international information security will promote the Russian concept of international information security at the UN and SCO rules for Internet behavior, develop trust in the cyber space within the framework of the OSCE and promote Russian approaches to Internet control.
