Iranian Parliament approves nuclear program project

The Parliament of Iran has approved the general project of the Iranian nuclear program, Trend reports.

The main objective of the project is to protect the achievements of the Iranian nuclear program. 181 parliament members voted for the program, with only 3 against and 6 abstentions.


According to the project, Iran should possess the technologies of all steps of nuclear fuel production. The document also implies that the government will continue the program of uranium enrichment for nuclear fuel manufacture in various production quantities.

Another paragraph of the document states that if any country examines Iranian aircraft or vessels, Iran will take corresponding retaliatory measures against that country.
