Ramazan Abdulatipov, who was appointed acting head of Dagestan today, will
arrive in the republic in a few days. Until then Abdulatipov will remain in
Moscow, RIA-Novosti reports.
A decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed the now
former head of Dagestan, Magomedsalam Magomedov, deputy head of the Kremlin
administration.
The chairman of the Duma Committee on Nationalities, Gadzhimet Safaraliev,
said that Abdulatipov is well acquainted with the problems of Dagestan and
has great management experience.
