US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has advised her successor John Kerry to wait and learn the true goals of the new Russian authorities.
Clinton considers it was a mistake for Russia to boot USAID out. The agency was helping fight tuberculosis and form mortgage companies.
Commenting on the Dmitry Yakovlev bill, she called it a tragedy, because many children had lost their chance of finding a family.
Clinton reminded that President Barack Obama had brought Russian-US relations to a new positive level by signing the new START Treaty, cooperating in Afghanistan and developing sanctions against Iran and China.
