Mukhtar Mejidov, Vice Premier of Dagestan since May 2009, has become the republic’s Prime Minister today, introduced by acting Dagestani Leader Ramazan Abdulatipov, RIA Dagestan reports.
Mejidov is characterized as one of the founders of business and banking in Dagestan, the regional governmental website says.
