Clinton urges Iran to start nuclear talks

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has concluded her last day in office by urging Iran to start talks on the nuclear program with the international society.

Her successor John Kerry has spoken out against Iran's obtaining nuclear weapons on numerous occasions and prefers peaceful negotiations, just as President Barack Obama does.

A candidate for Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel believes that Iran is losing opportunities to discuss the problem. He said at the Senate that all other ways of resolving the conflict should be considered.
