Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has cancelled his meeting with voters in Malatya-Sebastia due to the attack on one of his competitors Paruyr Ayrikyan last night.
The Public TV and other Armenian channels will not broadcast electoral ads today.
Ayrikyan was shot in a shoulder shot on the Street of Tpagrichneri in Yerevan. The police and members of the National Security Service formed a joint investigation group to study the incident. Presidential elections may be postponed by 2 weeks.
