The detection of crimes in Dagestan in the last year has increased, the head of the public security department of the Ministry of Interior Mikail Makasharipov said today at a briefing in Makhachkala. However, according to him, despite that, crimes committed in public places have grown by 16 % since last year.
The head of the Interior Ministry's department said that one of the reasons for that is the lack of armored vehicles.
He said that another important problem in Dagestan was the lack of qualified personnel.
