Idrisov becomes Dagestani Minister for Ecology

Dagestani Acting Leader Ramazan Abdulatipov has appointed Gasan Idrisov, former head of the administration of Abdulatipov and government, as the Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology, Abdulatipov’s press service reports.

Shakhabas Shakhov, head of the Dagestani State Pedagogic University, has become the acting head of the administration of Abdulatipov and government.

Abdulatipov became the Acting Leader of Dagestan on January 31. He dismissed the government of Magomed Abdullayev, replacing him with Vice Premier Mukhtar Mejidov. The new leader promised a major reshuffle.

Deputy prime minister and healthcare minister had been appointed.
