Aram Harutyunyan starts one-day hunger strike

Presidential candidate Aram Harutyunyan keeps his promise to hold a one-day hunger strike in front of the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia 10 days prior to the elections. After that he will withdraw from the presidential race.

The hunger strike is aimed at urging other candidates to follow his example and withdraw their candidacies.

He says that the election campaign has generally served its objective.
