Protesters try to interrupt Georgian president's speech

Several protesters gathered today near the National Library in Tbilisi, Georgia, in order to interrupt the speech of the country's President Mikheil Saakashvili.

The protesters were stopped by the police.

Georgian Internal Ministry spokesperson Nino Giorgobiani said that the police surrounded the Library so that the president would be able to enter the building.
