Interior ministry forces in the North Caucasus to be reduced

The Russian Interior Ministry may soon reduce its military contingent in the North Caucasus region, Internal Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev told the Russia 1 TV channel.

"We will discuss the necessity of maintaining the same amount of military forces in the region, because in some republics of the Caucasus the situation is less tense than it was before," he said.
