Postponement of Armenian presidential polls cancelled

 

Paruyr Ayrikyan, leader of the Union for National Self-Determination and candidate for president of Armenia shot in a shoulder, has scrapped his request to postpone the elections, RIA Novosti reports.

Thus, the elections will be held on February 18, as planned initially. Ayrikyan has spent 10 days in hospital.
