A small artillery ship “Makhachkala” of the “Buyan” 21630 project has joined the Caspian Fleet, RIA Novosti reports.
The ship is moving from the Baltic Sea to the Caspian Sea. Its crew will have military drills, hitting air, sea and coastal targets, practicing maneuvers.
The ship is equipped with an A-190 100mm artillery cannon, two 30mm six-barreled AK-306 machine guns and a 40-barreled 122mm Grad-M valley-fire cannon. The ship utilizes stealth technologies.
