Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has arrived in New York to discuss the problem of peaceful citizens during armed conflicts at the UNSC, Trend reports.
Mammadyarov met President of the 67th session of the Security Council Vuk Jeremic and discussed cooperation of Azerbaijan and the UN. The minister informed YJeremic about occupation of Azerbaijani land by Armenia.
The Azerbaijani minister emphasized that the Khojaly Massacre will also be raised at the UN talks, marking the anniversary of the tragedy.
