Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych has arrived in Ashkhabad to meet Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and discuss trade-economic ties, energy, construction and scientific cooperation.
A joint declaration and a package of intergovernmental agreements will be signed.
The presidents will found a set of facilities in the Lebap Region of Turkmenistan, where Ukraine’s Altcom is involved. The company plans to build an airport in Turkmenabat, railway and car bridges over the Amudaria River between Turkmenabat and Farab.
Yanukovych will depart on February 14.
