Russia admits sales of weapons to Syria

 

Anatoly Isaykin, Director General of Russia’s Rosoboronexport, has admitted that it had sold weapons worth $17.6 billion to Syria last year.

The official emphasized that no aviation equipment had been sold to Syria last year. Not a single Yak-130 had been shipped to Syria, despite a contract with Russia.
