Russian Duma lifts communist MP's immunity

The State Duma voted today in favour of lifting the immunity of Konstantin Shirshov, a lawmaker from the Communist Party, RIA Novosti reports.

The lawmaker is being accused of fraud. According to the general prosecutor's office, Shirshov was trying to sell his seat in the house to another person.
