Israel permitted shipments of Turkish medical equipment and construction materials for a new hospital in Hamas-controlled Gaza. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to arrive for its opening.

This means an end to the blockade of Gaza. Israel had expressed readiness to pay compensations to families of people killed in the Mavi Marmara incident. The only condition Turkey has in order to improve ties with Israel is apologies.

Israel expressed readiness to discuss construction of the Leviathan Pipeline last week. It will run through Israeli territorial waters to Turkey. Gas was discovered in the Cyprus and Israel. The pipeline would give Israel an opportunity to sell it to Europe.

Turkey extradited a 29-year-old pimp to Israel last week. He had been hiding in Turkey for 5 years. He had provided women from CIS states for Israel and the Cyprus.
