Armenia has changed in an indescribable way during in the last 25 days. The Armenian people have decided that these elections are not so much a struggle of individuals - Serzh, Raffi – or a struggle of parties, but are rather the right of an Armenian to have Armenia, presidential candidate and leader of the Heritage party, Raffi Hovannisian, told a news conference in Yerevan.
“I am sure that the people will win the first round, and that we will have a new presidency,” Hovannisian said.
The candidate said that his next meeting with the media would be on February 19 at 17:00 on Liberty Square, where he would announce his future plans, if he lost the elections. Nevertheless, he said, he was confident that the people were moving towards a new situation, and that the people would win the first round of the elections.
