Terrorist suspect arrested in Dagestan

One of the alleged would-be suicide bombers arrested in Dagestan was preparing to move to Moscow to carry out a terrorist attack, RIA Novosti reports, citing a high-ranking official of the law-enforcement agencies of the North Caucasian Federal District.

Last week the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) reported that 6 females aged from 15 to 29 years old and two men, suspected of involvement in preparations for suicide bombing, were arrested in Dagestan. 4 of the women are widows of eliminated underground leaders, two of them had criminal charges for storing arms and were considered missing.


The source said that one of the terrorists was to carry out an attack in Moscow in July. He said that they had taken a set of measures to find the terrorist group, using cell phone communication control. They have information that approximately 10 suicide bombers were being prepared.
