Iranian MP says Fordow facility will not be shut down

Aladdin Borujeri, head of the Iranian parliamentary commission for national security and foreign affairs, said that western states will never get the Fordow uranium-enrichment facility shut down, Reuters reports.

The facility had been built in a mountain to protect it from air raids. Western states offered Iran to close the facility last week in exchange for lift of sanctions against trade of gold and precious metals. Borujerdi believes that the proposal would benefit Israel, not Iran.
