10.92% cast votes in Armenia

 

According Deputy Chief of the CEC of Armenia Laura Galstyan, 10.92% of the population (275,982 people) voted by 11.00 am, News Armenia reports.

Six cases of violations have been reported so far. Three cases were registered in the Tavush Province. Bribery was reported at Idjevan and Getaovit. A local reported to the Dilijanskoye Police Station about bribes handed by President Serzh Sargsyan’s officials for votes. Reports at Chinari say that there was a person watching people vote for Sargsyan.

Raffi Ovanissyan, head of the Heritage Party, released a video showing how passport stamp about the person’s vote was removed using hydrogen peroxide. Press secretary Ovsep Khurshudyan said that the prints could easily be removed using tissues.

The same problem happened last year, when the prints were disappearing faster than 12 hours.

The Heritage Party registered fake ballots thrown in at Tashir and at the polling station 29/24 in Karadzor.
