Putin congratulates Serzh Sargsyan on his victory

Russian President Vladimir Putin has telephoned his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan after the publication of the election results, the Public Radio of Armenia reports.

Putin congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on his convincing victory in the presidential elections and wished peace, stability and well-being to the Armenian nation.

The Russian President also expressed confidence that the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership would continue to strengthen and that bilateral relations would continue to develop in the same spirit for the benefit of the two countries.
