Constantine Romodanovsky, head of the Russian Federal Migration Service (FMS), has replied to Muhammad Amin Majumder, head of the Migrants’ Federation of Russia, Izvestia reports.
Romodanovsky said that the idea of Majumder to pardon illegal labour migrants had no point. He noted that Russia had about 10 million illegal workers, although the figure was not official.
