EU urges Armenia to change electoral law

The Armenian authorities should introduce some democratic changes into the country's electoral law, according to the OSCE recommendation, EU Commissioner for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton and EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle say in a joint statement.

"We welcome the progress achieved already by the Armenian authorities," the statement says, adding that this process should continue, as some problems still exist.
