Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with the Secretary of the Iranian National
Security Council, Saeed Jalili, the press service of the President of
Kazakhstan reports.
The meeting was held on the eve of the next round of talks on Iran's
nuclear program, which will be held in Almaty with the participation
of representatives of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, plus
Germany and Iran, Trend reports.
Nazarbayev said that Kazakhstan plays an important role in global
nuclear security, and stressed that Kazakhstan hopes that the sides
are going to reach a compromise in the course of negotiations.
