UN secretary general satisfied with processes in Iran

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has had a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and expressed satisfaction with the talks in Alma Ata on Wednesday, ITAR-TASS reports.

Russia, UK, Germany, China, US and France agreed to have a meeting of experts in Istanbul on March 18 and a meeting of political directors with Iran in Alma Ata on April 5-6.

Russia and the US called consultations in Alma Ata fruitful. Iran was offered to smoothening of sanctions in exchange for termination of uranium-enrichment processes to 20%. Patrick Ventrell, acting deputy head of the press service of the US State Department, believes that accepting the proposal will open way for solution of the Iranian problem.
