General Erdal Ceylanoglu, former Commander of the Ground Forces, and Major-General Yucel Ozsir have been arrested for a coup attempt of February 28, 1997.
Over 40 people have been arrested over the case.
The coup attempt of 1997 forced Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan to resign.
