Russian cleric hails Derbent's tolerance

Members of presidential commission for inter-ethnic and inter-faith relations have visited the city of Derbent.

The head of the commission, the chair of the Moscow Patriarchate's department for cooperation between the Church and the society, Vsevolod Chaplin, hailed the city's tolerance.

"I believe that in Dagestan and the whole world religious people and non-believers will never quarrel and will respect and help each other," he said.
