Russia will soon file a request for extradition of Givi Targamadze from Georgia, Interfax reports.
Interpol will inform the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office as soon as it finds the location of the politician. According to Interpol, Targamadze was put on the international wanted list and Georgia is obliged to detain him. Tbilisi may refuse to extradite the suspect and may offer materials for the case instead.
Targamadze is a notable specialist of revolutions and is suspected of organizing mass disorders at the Bolotnaya Square in Moscow on May 6, 2012.
