Suleiman Abu Ghaith, a son-in-law of Bin Laden and one of the leaders of Al Qaeda, has been arrested by US security officers on the border of Jordan and Kuwait, Hurriyet reports.
Gates had been arrested in Ankara in early February during a special operation of US and Turkish special services. Turkey had refused to extradite him to the US, fearing revenge of militants.
Istanbul decided to sent Al Ghaith to Kuwait, only to be re-arrested by the US.
