US and Georgian troops to have joint military drills

The US has transported 400 marines to Georgia for the Combative Spirit 2013 military drills that had started at Vaziani on March 11 and will end on April 5.

Soldiers of the 23rd battalion of the 2nd infantry brigade of Georgia will be trained. The battalion has not lost a single troop during the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.

Such number of US soldiers has been seen in Georgia for the first time since the victory of Georgian Dream at the parliamentary polls.
