Chechen leader demands Ingushetia to set borders legally

Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that Ingush officials were avoiding contacts with the Chechen commission for administrative borders.

Kadyrov reminded that Ingushetia had been formed on June 4, 1992, via delimitation of the Chechen-Ingush Republic. Not a single point of the bill on formation of the Ingush Republic had been fulfilled. Ingushetia still lacks administrative border with Chechnya. According to the Russian Constitution, frontier disputes of Russian republics may only be resolved by the republics themselves.
