Iranian spy sentenced to death in Afghanistan

Iranian citizen Mohammad Mohammadi has been sentenced to death on charges of espionage in the Afghan province of Badghis, Radio Free Europe reported on Tuesday.

According to the reports, Mohammadi was arrested near U.S. and Spanish military bases. A few days before the arrest Mohammadi visited the Iranian Consulate in Herat.
