Pyatigorsk has formed an ethnic council to prevent inter-ethnic tensions, RIA Novosti reports.
Formation of the council was inspired by unsanctioned protests over a murder of a man from the Kocubeyevsky District in Nevinnomyssk in December 2012.
The ethnic council will cooperate with mass media and youth, prevent conflicts. It will include heads of national associations, autonomies and public organizations of the city.
