The chief engineer of "Sulakgidrokaskad", Vladimir Redkin, was kidnapped in the Untsukulskiy region of Dagestan, the police department of Untsukulskiy region told Interfax.
The engineer's driver, Kurban Kurbanov, reported to the police at 10:15 after finding the engineer“s apartment open and its owner missing.. The investigation revealed that the kidnappers entered the apartment in the village of Shamilkala using the balcony. They found a 7.62 mm cartridge shell.
A criminal case was initiated under article 126 of the Russian criminal code (kidnapping) and article 222 (illegal arms trafficking).
